Guilt Free Banana Chocolate Bread

Spread the love

Guilt Free Banana Bread This is a delicious recipe for people who are careful about carbs or for those who are allergic. I have to give credit to a wonderful site, http://comfybelly.com/. I got inspiration from a banana bread recipe from this site. I tweaked it a bit and came up with this yummy bread- do try it, it is very easy to put together…

  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ¼ cup coconut nectar (honey or agave can be substituted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup grated semi sweet chocolate

Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

Transfer the dry ingredients including almond flour, coconut flour, salt and baking soda into a medium bowl. Whisk to take lumps out.
Add the eggs and coconut nectar into a mixer. Beat for a minute or two. Add the coconut oil and beat for another minute. Add the vanilla extract and mashed bananas. Beat for another minute and add the dry ingredients. Beat for another minute and add the walnuts and chocolate. Mix well and transfer to the loaf pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until browned and a toothpick inserted in the middle of the bread comes out clean.
